Most jewelry is sold on mood lighting and a markup you're not supposed to ask about. We started The Monte Standard because we think the opposite sells better: publish everything.
Every piece on this site carries its full specification — metal, purity stamp, total gram weight, stone type, carat weight — pulled directly from manufacturer data. Our solid gold, silver and platinum prices track the live metals market, repriced automatically and timestamped on every product page. And because we publish the weight and purity at the moment you buy, your solid gold piece can come back to us later as Buy Back credit — quoted against numbers you can verify.
The founder's background is in professional valuation — the discipline of documenting exactly what an asset is before putting a number on it. That's the standard this house is named for, applied to jewelry.
Pieces are crafted by our manufacturing partner in New York's Diamond District and shipped insured to your door. The company is based in Dallas–Fort Worth, Texas.
